WELCOME
TO THE LIME KILN INN, LANGPORT
The Lime Kiln Inn has recently been taken over by publican, Jason Schinkel.
Originally from South Africa, Jason has called England home for the past two decades. With a background in catering, Jason made the leap to become a successful publican and has earned a glowing reputation among all of his customers, establishing his pubs as a hub for great food, camaraderie and memorable moments.
Whether you’re a regular at The Lime Kiln Inn, or new to the pub, Jason extends a warm invitation to join us and is eager to personally welcome you!
Located on the A372 between Langport and Podimore, The Lime Kiln is a 17th-century cider house converted into a traditional country pub and restaurant with breathtaking views over the Somerset Levels.
Serving mouthwatering pub classics and exciting specials, our focus is on locally sourced produce and the freshest seasonal ingredients. Join us every Sunday for delicious roasts in our stunning restaurant space, and enjoy a wide selection of craft beer and cask ale.
Our private hire space, the Green Room, is available for all kinds of events and special occasions, and our beer garden is perfect for al fresco drinking and dining in the warmer months.
The Lime Kiln is family-friendly and dog-friendly, with plenty of space for groups large and small, and an abundance of beautiful walks on our doorstep.
We’re close to popular Somerset attractions including Clarks Shopping Village, the Royal Navy Fleet Air Museum, and the picturesque town of Somerton.
